NetWorker for Windows NT, Network Edition

NetWorker for Windows NT, Network Edition delivers enterprise-strength data protection for distributed networks of Windows NT servers and networked clients, and addresses the more demanding needs of departmental or enterprise-wide networks.

Bundled Software

• NetWorker for NT, Server Edition is pre-enabled to support autochanger and advanced data management modules.

Server and Network Edition Options

• Autochanger Software Modules provide hands-free, automated data protection using popular autochangers and jukeboxes, as well as connectivity with mainframes for storage, disaster recovery, or migration. Autochanger Modules are sold according to the number of slots supported by the robotic device: 1-6 slots, 1-16 slots, 1-64 slots, and >64 slots. Mainframe support is provided via the Autochanger Software Module for Emprise Stage3.**
• NetWorker Archive is an advanced data management application module that delivers file grooming services to authorized clients on the network.

Network Edition Only Options

• TurboPak boosts power and performance by delivering the following features: operation of as many as 16 storage devices concurrently, data multiplexing for a maximum of 32 backup or recover sessions in parallel, data cloning, and support for autochanger and advanced data management modules.
• Client Connections increase the number of systems protected by the NetWorker storage management server. Connections are licensed in 5, 25, and 100 increments according to client type.
• ClientPaks enable each supported system's hard disk to be protected over the TCP/IP protocol. Users can perform scheduled or ad-hoc backups, recovers and other data management services authorized by the server -- without administrator assistance.
